Why this site exists
Buying a first toy, or a gift for a partner, can feel awkward. A lot of the advice online is either written to sell or far more graphic than people want. We think adults deserve frank, health-positive information that gives a straight answer, not a sales pitch. So we stick to the practical questions: is this material body safe, which lube works with which toy, what will the parcel look like, and what happens if something breaks.
What we do
- Explain body-safe materials, cleaning and lube from Australian health sources, including the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Sexual Health Victoria, Jean Hailes for Women's Health and Quin.
- Describe Australian online retailers with dated facts from their own pages: packaging, delivery times, returns and warranties.
- Publish independent reviews of retailers and brands, such as Lovehoney, Satisfyer, Womanizer and We-Vibe, built from their published policies and specifications. We haven't tested products ourselves, and each review says so.
- Explain your rights under Australian Consumer Law from the ACCC.
What we don't do
- We don't publish explicit text, images or videos, and there are no images of people on this site.
- We don't publish how-to sex content. We cover products, materials, care and shopping.
- We don't sell products or collect your details.
- We don't publish rankings, star ratings or "best" lists, and we don't quote product prices.
- We don't give medical advice. For health questions we point you to a GP, a pharmacist or a sexual health clinic.

Every page shows when it was published, updated and last reviewed. Health facts come from Australian health organisations. Retailer facts come only from that retailer's own website. If we can't check a fact on one of those, we leave it out. Our sources page lists every page we used.
