Discreet Delivery of Adult Products in Australia

Quick answer

  • Every store and brand we checked says it ships in plain packaging. The differences are in the sender name and what shows on your card statement.
  • Wild Secrets shows "PHE International" as the sender, Adulttoymegastore bills as "ATMS", and Womanizer parcels come from "WOW Tech Europe GmbH". Lovehoney says its return address doesn't include "Lovehoney".
  • For extra privacy, choose a collection point or parcel locker where the store allows it, and check whether the courier may leave the parcel unattended.

If you share a letterbox, a house or a bank account, it's fair to want to know exactly what an adult store order will look like when it arrives. Most stores promise "discreet" delivery, but that word covers several separate things: the box, the sender name on the label, the name on your card statement, and where the parcel is left. This guide sets out what three Australian online stores and three toy brands say about each, from their own pages checked on 30 October 2026.

18+ only. SexCentral.com.au is for adults. It's an independent guide operated by Dominet BV. This page is general information, not medical advice: for pain, irritation, an allergy or any other health worry, talk to a GP, a pharmacist or a sexual health clinic. We don't sell products and we don't show explicit content. No link on this site is an affiliate link right now. We may earn a commission from retailers in future when a reader buys through a link on this site. If that happens we'll label those links and explain it in our affiliate disclosure, and it won't change the facts we publish. Retailer facts were checked on each retailer's own website on 30 October 2026 and can change. Read our general information notice.

What "discreet" can mean

There are four things to check:

  1. The packaging. Is the box or satchel plain, with no logo or product names?
  2. The sender name. What name appears on the label or return address?
  3. The billing name. What shows on your bank or card statement?
  4. The delivery point. Is it left at the door, signed for, or held at a post office or locker?

A store can be discreet on one and not say anything about another, so it's worth reading each policy.

We-Vibe and Womanizer are both WOW Tech brands, so a We-Vibe order may also come from WOW Tech Europe GmbH, but We-Vibe's pages didn't say so and we haven't confirmed it.

Lovehoney Australia

Lovehoney's plain packaging page says larger items go in plain custom boxes and smaller items, such as condoms, in plain padded envelopes. It says there are no markings on the back or sides, only the address label and sometimes a courier sticker. Australia Post requires a return address, and Lovehoney says its return address doesn't include the word "Lovehoney".

On delivery, Lovehoney's delivery page says orders are tracked to your door or a local collection point. Parcels held at a post office are kept for 10 working days, and you'll need photo ID to collect one. Its help centre also says it won't sell your data to a third party.

Our full Lovehoney review covers its delivery times and returns.

Wild Secrets

Wild Secrets' discreet packaging page says orders go in unbranded packaging, either a black mailer bag or a plain cardboard box, with no reference to the products or the website. The sender name shows as "PHE International". Wild Secrets' about page describes its acquisition by PHE, Inc., the parent of US retailer Adam & Eve.

Its delivery page says the packaging carries just your address and theirs, and that parcels may be left unattended in a safe place. If that's a concern, plan to be home or choose a delivery address where someone you trust can collect it.

Adulttoymegastore

Adulttoymegastore's shipping page says there's no branding or logos on the parcel and that your card statement will show the billing name "ATMS". The store's headquarters and main warehouse are in Wellington, New Zealand, so delivery times are counted from there.

It offers two useful privacy options. Australia Post can deliver to a PO Box or a parcel locker, while DHL Express can't. A signature on delivery costs an extra $2.

Buying direct from a brand

Womanizer's FAQ says parcels are sent from "WOW Tech Europe GmbH" in plain brown boxes, usually shipped within 2 days, with most delivered within 5 days after shipment, depending on region.

We-Vibe's site showed a banner on 30 October 2026 reading "Free discreet shipping on all toys". We didn't find more detail on the packaging or sender name.

Satisfyer's FAQ says "Discretion is guaranteed. The package arrives in a standard brown shipping box." That's from the US site, because we didn't find an Australian Satisfyer store.

How long delivery takes

Discretion is easier when you know roughly when a parcel will turn up. Here's what each store publishes for standard and express delivery within Australia:

StoreStandardExpressSource
Lovehoney AustraliaParcel Post usually 3 to 4 working days metro, 4 to 7 regionalExpress Post 1 to 2 working days metro, 2 to 3 regional, 3 to 4 remoteDelivery
Wild Secrets2 to 7 business days1 to 3 business daysFast delivery
AdulttoymegastoreAustralia Post, 2 to 4 business days metro, 4 to 8 regional, up to 9 remoteDHL Express, 2 to 3 business daysShipping information

Adulttoymegastore's site banner described economy delivery as 4 to 8 business days on the day we checked, which differs from its shipping page, so allow for the longer time. Lovehoney says express orders placed before 4pm AEDT, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day, and that express isn't always available.

Tracking helps too. Lovehoney and Wild Secrets both say their deliveries are tracked, so you can see when a parcel is due and plan to be there.

Card statements

The billing name is the part people most often forget. Of the stores and brands we checked, only Adulttoymegastore said what its billing name is ("ATMS"). If the name on your statement matters to you:

  • check the store's FAQ or shipping page before you order
  • ask the store if it isn't listed
  • think about the payment method. Lovehoney's help centre, for example, lists Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and Afterpay

We haven't seen how each payment method appears on a statement, so check with your bank or the payment provider if you're unsure.

Choosing where it's delivered

Plain packaging doesn't help much if the parcel sits on a shared doorstep. Options to consider:

  • A collection point or post office. Lovehoney says orders can be tracked to a local collection point. Remember the photo ID requirement.
  • A parcel locker or PO Box. Adulttoymegastore says Australia Post can deliver to both, but DHL can't.
  • Signature on delivery. Adulttoymegastore offers this for $2, which stops the parcel being left unattended.
  • Work or another address. Only if you're comfortable with someone else possibly receiving it.

What we couldn't check

  • sextoys.com.au. Its site didn't load for us, so it isn't included.
  • Billing names for Lovehoney, Wild Secrets and the brands. Not stated on the pages we read.
  • What the parcels look like in person. We haven't ordered from these stores.
